The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly known as food stamps) provides food assistance to low or no income families in the U.S. It is a federal program the USDA administers, but distribution of benefits is determined and done on the state level. Hoosier Hills Food Bank wants to help our community by getting as many people in Monroe, Brown, Lawrence, Martin, Orange, and Owen counties on SNAP as possible. The details surrounding the application process can be intimidating, so let us help!

Contact our SNAP Application & Assistance Coordinator, Kedric Gabriel, to learn more about SNAP, eligibility, or how we could help you start the application process.
